Bayou Pigeon features an abundance of live oaks that follow the bayou’s natural ridge for several miles from its confluence with Grand Lake. Located near fuel and bait, off Highway 75 on Bayou Pigeon Road, the landing is just across the levee. As the gateway into the Atchafalaya Basin, it’s known for prime fishing spots and wildlife viewing. This landing accommodates small to medium sized boats with plenty of parking. It’s also perfect for paddler, featuring a variety of channels and small lakes to customize your own trail.
