Legion Park Boat Ramp

At the end of Ponce De Leon Street in the serene locale of Miramar Beach, just a few blocks north of U.S. 98 and east of Destin, lies Legion Park Boat Ramp. Located on Choctawhatchee Bay, it offers a single-lane concrete ramp that’s perfect for recreational boating and anglers looking for a convenient boat or kayak launch. Just minutes by boat to Sandestin, this Walton County-operated park features amenities that make it more than just a launch point. With parking available for about a dozen vehicles with trailers, visitors can enjoy picnic tables, bathrooms, a basketball court, a volleyball court, and a playground area. Best of all, there’s no cost to use this launch, and it’s open from dawn to dusk.
