River Park Boat Launch

Located at 4100 Clark Street and accessible via the Jerry St. Pe Highway, this 8.6 acre Park provides an array of recreational offerings for visitors. Upon turning left at the first light and following the signs off Port Road, visitors will find a fishing pier extending 650 feet, a boat ramp, and picnic tables. For those with mobility impairments, an ADA accessible kayak launch enables everyone to enjoy the park’s stunning water views. While the Scranton Museum, an authentic shrimp boat, sadly closed in 2018 due to safety issues, visitors can still enjoy a portion of the park dedicated to an off-leash dog area. Visitors are reminded to take responsibility for their pet’s safety and to clean up after them.

Additionally, visitors should be aware that three additional boat launches nearby provide access to the Pascagoula River. These boat launches are accessible via a road leading away from River Park, alongside the Causeway.
