Black Point Boat Launch

Nestled at the mouth of the Petaluma River lies the beloved Black Point Boat Launch, a public launch that draws in boating enthusiasts. This popular spot boasts a high-freeboard dock and boat ramp, perfect for those seeking adventure on the water. Once you’re out on the water, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and perhaps even catch a glimpse of some of the area’s diverse wildlife. With the added convenience of a boat washing hose and fish-cleaning station, boaters have all the amenities they need to enjoy their day out on the water. For those looking to park for the day, there are ample spots available in two lots, with a $5 fee for onsite parking. Please note that the park facility hours are sunrise to sunset, and overnight parking is not permitted. So pack up your gear, grab your paddles, and head to Black Point Boat Launch for a day of fun and adventure on the water.

From Highway 37-East take the Atherton Avenue exit towards Black Point. Continue onto Harbor Drive and Black Point Boat Launch will be on your right.

From Highway 37-West take the Harbor Drive exit and continue onto Harbor Drive. Black Point Boat Launch will be on your left.
