Located in Natchitoches Parish, the Grand Ecore Recreation Area and Boat Ramp is a popular destination for boaters and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The two-lane concrete boat launch provides easy access to the beautiful Bayou Pierre, while the large parking lot can accommodate up to 100 vehicles with trailers. In addition to the exceptional boating experience, the recreation area also features picnic tables complete with cooking grills, picnic shelters, and a comfort station to ensure a comfortable visit for all guests. With an asphalt surfaced access road, this recreation area is easily accessible and ready to provide a memorable outdoor adventure.

Leaving Natchitoches, travel eastbound on LA Hwy 6. Just prior to the Red River Grand Ecore Bridge, turn left at the Corps of Engineers Welcome Center on Tauzin Island Road.
