Red Oak Lake Recreation Area
The Red Oak Lake Recreation Area Boat Ramp on the Red River boasts a number of amenities for visitors seeking outdoor recreation. With a spacious asphalt parking lot containing 50 spots and an asphalt road leading towards the area, it’s easy to get to. The 2-lane concrete boat launch provides access to the sprawling Red River. Whether it’s for fishing or just cruising, the boat launch is easy and convenient.
Directions:
From Coushatta, proceed south on LA Hwy 480 approximately 6 miles. Turn right at the Lock and Dam #4 access road crossing the KCS railroad track, then immediately turn right onto the asphalt road 1 mile to the facility.
