Attention all boating enthusiasts! The New Roads Public boat launch, located off of W Main St behind City Hall and Morel’s Courtyard Inn, is now open and ready for use. Recently, the boat launch at Morrison Parkway was temporarily closed by the Pointe Coupee Parish Government and the City of New Roads, but fear not, it was for the better. The old launch has been completely removed and a new, sturdy launch has been poured, ensuring a safe and enjoyable boating experience for all visitors. Not only can you launch your boat at this location, but you can also grab a bite to eat while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
